WB6 CIF Joint ICT Workshop at GITEX AI Berlin

ICT companies and startups from the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia came together in Berlin for the WB6 CIF Joint Workshop organized during GITEX AI Berlin.

The workshop served as a platform for strengthening cooperation between the participating chambers, economies, ICT associations, companies, and international partners, with a focus on business exchange, company visibility, and new opportunities in the digital and technology sector.

Held as a bilateral ICT business workshop during GITEX AI Berlin, the event included opening remarks, market overview discussions, company presentations, B2B meetings, and networking opportunities. The programme included sessions dedicated to ICT market opportunities, business cooperation, company presentations, and B2B meetings.

Strengthening Cooperation in the ICT Sector

The workshop opened with remarks from chamber representatives and WB6 CIF, setting the tone for a discussion focused on cooperation, innovation, and the role of the ICT sector in connecting businesses across markets.

From GITEX, the workshop welcomed Tamer Nahas, Partnership Director at DWTC, who contributed to the discussion on the relevance of GITEX for ICT companies and the opportunities offered by international platforms for business development and partnerships.

The plenary part of the workshop also brought together representatives of ICT associations from the participating chambers. Armend Zeqiraj, representing the ICT Association at the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the proximity of the economies and the potential of a young, tech-oriented population.

Presenting ICT Expertise and Business Opportunities

A key part of the workshop was dedicated to company presentations, offering participating businesses the opportunity to introduce their activities, expertise, products, services, and potential areas for cooperation.

Participating companies presented their work across different areas of the ICT sector, contributing to a better understanding of the region’s technology capabilities and the opportunities for cooperation between companies, chambers, and external partners.

The company presentation session created a space for businesses to showcase their expertise, identify shared interests, and open discussions on future partnerships.

B2B Meetings and Networking

Following the plenary session and company presentations, participants took part in B2B meetings and networking activities.

These meetings provided companies with the opportunity to engage directly with potential partners, exchange business interests, and explore concrete cooperation opportunities. The networking format helped transform the discussions of the workshop into practical business connections.

By combining institutional dialogue, company visibility, and direct matchmaking, the workshop supported stronger links between ICT companies and startups from the participating chambers and economies.
