The event also gathered the Presidents of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, reaffirming the strong engagement of the regional chamber network in advancing economic integration across the Western Balkans.

Discussions during the Forum highlighted the significant progress achieved in regional trade over the past decade. Participants emphasized that intra-regional trade in the Western Balkans has increased substantially, demonstrating the tangible benefits of enhanced cooperation, removal of non-tariff barriers, and improved trade facilitation measures.

A key general conclusion of the panel was that sustained regional coordination, regulatory alignment, and effective implementation of agreed regional commitments remain essential for maintaining positive trade trends. Continued improvements in connectivity, streamlined border procedures, and structured dialogue between the business community and policymakers were recognized as critical drivers of growth and competitiveness.

In this context, the WB6 Chamber Investment Forum remains fully aligned with the objectives of the Common Regional Market (CRM) and the new CRM 2.0 Action Plan, as well as with the broader EU integration agenda of the Western Balkans. Through its advocacy work, policy dialogue, and EU-supported projects, WB6 CIF actively contributes to strengthening regional economic integration, supporting green and digital transformation, and improving the overall investment climate in the region.

Participation in high-level platforms such as the Kopaonik Business Forum further reinforces the unified voice of over 370,000 companies represented by WB6 CIF and underscores the private sector’s commitment to building a more competitive, resilient, and EU-oriented Western Balkans market.
