4th Call of the Regional Challenge Fund Opens – A New Opportunity to Strengthen the Link Between Education and the Private Sector

The Chamber Investment Forum of the Western Balkans (WB6 CIF) is pleased to inform all educational institutions and companies from the region that the fourth Call for Expressions of Interest under the Regional Challenge Fund (RCF) will officially open on April 7, 2025.

The Regional Challenge Fund is an initiative financed by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and Swiss Development Cooperation through the KfW Development Bank, and implemented by the Chamber Investment Forum of the Western Balkans (WB6 CIF)

The program aims to improve the quality of vocational education and training (VET) by developing cooperative and dual learning models that connect educational institutions with companies. RCF provides financial support to partnership projects, enabling young people to acquire practical knowledge and skills through real-world work experience.

In previous calls, numerous partners from across the region have successfully implemented projects that have modernized educational infrastructure and contributed to increased youth employability.

We invite all interested and qualified partners from the region to take advantage of this unique opportunity to submit joint project proposals. The program offers substantial financial and technical support to improve conditions for practical training and strengthen cooperation between education and the private sector.
