The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Austrian Economic Chambers (WKO) and Advantage Austria, organized the “Austrian Trade Mission of Kosovo” Business Forum that was held on October 10 2019 in Prishtina.
The Forum gathered more than 50 companies from Kosovo and Austria, who were greeted by the WB6 CIF Secretary General Mr. Safet Gerxhaliu, President of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce Mr. Berat Rukiqi, along with the Ambassador of Austria H.E. Christoph Weidinger, President of the Chamber from Klagenfurt Mr. Christian Mandel and the Director of Advantage Austria Mr. Peter Hasslacher.
The Austrian Business delegation numbered 14 companies, including ACTIV Project Management, ANDRITZ HYDRO, Austroflex Rohr-Isoliersysteme, Europlast Kunststoffbehälterindustrie, etc.
During the Business Forum, Mr. Safet Gerxhaliu introduced the main goals and organization of the WB6 Chamber Investment Forum, pointing out that regional economic cooperation and a common regional market are the core idea behind the founding of this association. His speech was followed by a short presentational movie of WB6 CIF and an overview of the www.investinsee.com, developed with the support of EBRD. Following the presentation a productive debate was held with the participation of company representatives both from Kosovo and Austria.
