WB6 CIF Participation at the 2nd Steering Committee Meeting of the Western Balkans Digital Summit 2025

The Secretary General of the Western Balkans 6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF), Mr. David Piegazki, participated in the 2nd Steering Committee Meeting of the Western Balkans Digital Summit 2025, held in Skopje and co-funded by the European Union.

The meeting brought together representatives of the European Commission (DG ENER and DG CONNECT), the Regional Cooperation Council, the German Federal Ministry for Digitalisation and Transport, and institutions from across the Western Balkans region.

During the session, the first draft agenda of the 7th Western Balkans Digital Summit was presented, followed by structured discussions focused on the key thematic panels and institutional responsibilities for the upcoming event.

The Western Balkans Digital Summit is one of the most important regional platforms dedicated to advancing digital transformation. It aims to enhance regional cooperation, improve digital capacities, and align the region with EU digital standards. In this context, WB6 CIF continues to play an active role in shaping the region’s digital future, supporting greater competitiveness, innovation, and market integration.

Participants were invited to provide their input on the proposed agenda, suggest potential speakers, and confirm their readiness to lead or contribute to specific panels in preparation for the Summit later this year.
